Legislative Redistricting

The Legislative Redistricting map shows Georgia legislative district proposals introduced in the General Assembly. You can explore the district proposals by using the map legend and tools, described below.

Map Legend
The map legend contains all of the features that appear on the map. You can turn them on and off my clicking on the check box to the left of each name. When the feature is turned on, the symbol for that feature appears just under the name.

Double-click the Layer Group symbol to expand or collapse a group of features in the Map Legend.

District plan proposals are indicated in the map legend with an asterisk (*). Each of these proposals also has a corresponding document, available to the left of the map, in the section labeled "District Plan Proposals".

The Map Legend also represents the stacking order of the map features. You may notice that, for example, if you have both the Counties and Zip Codes turned on, you cannot select any Counties on the map. This is because they are under Zip Codes in the stacking order. Simply turn off the Zip Codes to make your selection of Counties.
